Soth, I use coffee beans and grind them with my espresso coffeebean grinder. The very fine grind makes a smooth surface. If the hole is deep, I fill in layers by packing some powdered grounds into the hole, and adding a bit of thin CA, then continue on the same until a tad above the surface. Sanding smells good. The oils in the ground (unused) coffee accelerate the CA cure, and cause a bit of visible fumes. CA cure fumes are very bad for the lungs, so I have a fan blowing them away, or just leave the area for a bit.
