Gooday all.

Finished this this afternoon. I sort of lost heart halfway through because it has a huge split right across it and threatened to fall in half.

Timber is Blackwood finished in Lacquer.

So how did we fix the splitThanks Artme. I didn't. For the normal cracks in the timber we use I would need 20 litre drums of CA.:roll:

I like it, looks kinda like an asian garden temple :)Thanks Eliza. That was the influence behind it. The bottom was going to be the same but it kept cracking around the edges. I got cheesed off and just rounded it over.

Did you do it on your long bed lathe? :)
That's what might have caused the cracks?
