I had to watch it twice to believe it.
May be obvious to most but one should note the piece is spinning in the reverse mode.

Hope he had steel caps on!!
I wonder why he doesn't take the corners off with an electric plane? Might be slower but I will bet it's a damned site safer.

I gather the ends, or at least the top, is pre-turned before being glued up.
Or how else would he finish the top opening? Maybe a very large fixed steady.
