Turned from a tree that was in my sister's back yard .
The blank had a bark blaze running across it , and I managed to core the three of them out of it .
The big one is 200 X 110. They're sanded to 600 and finished with 1 coat of Rustins danish oil polished to dry , and lightly cut back with 1200.

Blody great work MJ. :2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

Very smart to save so much timber and then turn the bowls with such comparative ease.

oh sure ...even Stevie Wonder could see those Grand Canyon cracks :roll::D:D:D

Cheers Art .
its' the first time I have used a bowl saver , I gotta get me one .

Dunno about comparative ease tho , that alder is a bugga for moving , wet or dry .
