Taken some time doing this its been shuttled around the bench for months I was going to make a lid but decided against it.

NSW Rosewood from Mal's Boutique Timbers (wish he had a web site)

numerous coats of WOP approx 80h x 130dia

nice piece Wheelin. :D I think I would make a lid but hey thats me. My reason....the depth and the straight sides would suit it .

I agree Peter I just have to find the bit I was going to use or another bit to suit it thats been the problem.

Maybe a light golden wood , slightly domed , not too fancy .

:rolleyes: Think I'll make that lid after all just now have to find the right bit to suit Jacaranda was/is my choice.

Really really nice. Rosewood, did you say rosewood. Need some.
The third photo is a beaut, the bowl and how arranged. Thoughtful positioning ...attractive composition.

What they said about the lid, the bowl will be around for ...hierloom quality !!???? Yeah, that baby need a top, IMHO.
