Here is a new lathe for heavy & long work

Should suit both of you with some really cool ideas

EBO 25-84 (http://eboinc.net/model2584.html)

And for those looking for an easy way to load their bowl blanks have a look down the page Crane (http://eboinc.net/accessories.html)

Hmm, very nice, but a bit pricey. I reckon it would set you back close to 15k with shipping etc.

Interesting that they apparently believe 2 hp. is adequate for even the largest turnings.

Interesting that they apparently believe 2 hp. is adequate for even the largest turnings. It is. Our big lathe ran 1 HP for about 2 years but was upgraded to 3 HP when we put in 3 phase.

My "small" lathes all run 1 HP.

Dang, that's some mammajamma of a lathe. Been lurking here on and off for a bit and have seen some of 's work, seen the big man himself too. I'm sure he'll make good use of it. Congrats.

You folks certainly enjoy your lathing, oops ... turning.

Y'all have fun now.
