Hi again My last bowl i posted had a high shine:U, this one I decided to have a satin finish, depending on the timber i am turning to which finish I use , i think this could be walnut a few people said it is

Dunno what the wood is but it certainly is beautiful grain, nice shape too Lonepine

Sure looks like our (US) Black walnut, and has some nice striping as well.

Compliments on having nicely curved (no flats) cuts on the outside of this and the "shiney" one as well ...most novices usually have the flats instead of a continuous curve :2tsup:
