Would anyone be able to comment on how the Matchmaker

compares to the Multi-Router?,

http://www.thejdscompany.com/Multi.htm

Call me crazy but I am interested in buying somthing that makes mortise and tenon, and also box joints easier to make. I read the debate and praise about the Multi-Router, and wonder if someone has ever used this other alternative.

Thanking you in advance
Marc

Mark,

The LittleRat is exceptionally well adapted to both of the applications you specifically mention (plus a whole lot more!). I have had one for well over a year now and its uses for me seem to keep expanding as I become more confident with it. Might be worth a look.

Cheers

Thank you Rev...by LittleRat which one do you mean? The MatchMaker?
At 1/4 of the price of the Multi-Reuter what are the trade offs?
Where did you buy yours, in Australia or O/S ?

Sorry Marc; I should have been more clear.

I do not mean either of the machines you gave links to. I referred to the LittleRat which is made by WoodRat from UK. I bought mine in directly from UK but I notice that it is now being sold by Carbatec. I made a very small saving for my effort but hardly worth the hassles I had with customs etc.

I have a video of how the 'Rat works - Contact me by private message if you want to make arrangements to borrow it.

You might also like to check out the following links for further information on the 'Rat.
