I finally finished a matching salt and pepper grinder set. Blackwood pepper mill and Holly salt grinder. The Holly split when I was fitting the grinder mechanism. Not a surprise as the Holly had a split in it, which I filled with ground coffee and araldite. I'm not giving up on it just yet, I'll mix up some more coffee/araldite and try to repair it.

Not exactly a perfect pair, but then I'm not perfect either :D.

Template made from some kind of plastic I scored from a screen printer friend, reinforced with a couple of off cuts.

Very nice GJ. Coffee just adds character to it... they look great from where I sit.

Don't really understand the template but I'm having a brain-fade day today, so it could just be me

Cheers,
Dave

 Thought it would just be me.

Rotate the template 180 degrees and that's the profile of the knob. Thanks DJ.

Don't you hate that :- I found the best way is putting masking tape on either side of the joint and drizzle med CA, not thin it goes everywhere :(, then remove tape and hand sand & polish
