Camphor-Laurel help 2

Hi all
Just a quick thank you to all that offerd help in "camphor-laurel help"
Picked up the lump from Wheelin this morning and not only got the bit of wood but a great cuppa and a nice chat with Wheelin and his lovely lady Thanks Ray that was most pleasent ........
Any way I have finished the candle holder and again promise myself not to turn pairs........ it finished up close to the original even though the photo doesn't appear that way ... the interesting thing was a streak of spalting toward the center of the new one finished to 600 and EEE 2 coats of shellawax EEE then Glow 290 high and 130 wide at the top

That's a chunky pair of cadle holders there! 130 wide? Do you have a pick with the candles in them?

The wood lokos spectacular, and they do match nicely too. Finish looks great :2tsup:
