i got a number of pieces of burl with the bark still on

is there an easy way to remove the bark

i have found that if the resin is going to let go its always where there is bark

Yes Shane wolf uses a high pressure washer to remove the bark from burls and I have tried this and it works

Yes I found the best way is to use a high presure cleaner and they will do the trick with no trouble at all.

I use the high pressure hose for large burls, sometimes with a bit of help from a prodger. For smaller pieces of burl for casting, I trying prying off the bark,but revert to the wire wheel for the stubburn bits.
