Have been given an 800mm x 600mm, tallow wood butcher's block top , 75mm thick - about 60 years old. It has been dropped, splitting down one complete section the full width of the piece, along the line of the original join. A second piece has come apart from a corner. There is little splintering & the three pieces will join together well.
What's the best glue?
The final result has to be water - resistant. The glue can't have too much body - to enable a tight clamp & little or no gap.

What's the solution.

Thanks

Reading all the latest reports on glue I'd use the Titebond III. It's waterproof & has past the standards for food utensils.
It's available from Mik International & Carba-Tec

Hope this helps ;)
