Looks like a good selection of exhibitors. Keen to check out the wood at Sitco again this year and I found a discount voucher on Peacock Saws website, saved for a few months for this years show. Can't wait

I am particularly looking for a sharpening system like the Tormek T-7.
Will they have a stand on their own or will their distributors do displays?
Same for the Sheppach?

Two weeks to go, and still no floor plan on the website.:(

How's a guy supposed to come up with a plan of attack without a floor plan?

So do you need vulunteers to man the stand, or is it going to be just a drop in area?

Yup, downloaded a copy yesterday.

I'm a bit disappointed to see Hare & Forbes has such a small stand, apparently not bringing any machinery this year. I'm planning on upgrading my lathe in about 4-6 months time, and from what I've read here lately their WL46 might fit my budget and my needs. Also can't see anyone running any decent show specials yet.

Ten more sleeps...

Good to see everyone is getting excited over the show now only 4 sleeps away. we have been flat out and hence why i haven't been on the forum for a while. Glad to see you found the floor plan - remember we said last year that we would only post a plan and exhibitor list 10 days out from the show - this way we can get as accurate as possible to the real thing. However you wouldn't believe it we had a cancellation today, but Adam our fantastic sales manager has managed to fill the space - so the floor plan won't change.

We have been bombarded with requests for tickets this year - we sent a special offer out to clubs (the same as the forum offer) and the response has been truly overwhelming - thank you Brisbane Clubs. Even had someone today buy tickets for the Melbourne Show and that's not until October!!

Not sure if i have told you but we have changed the entrance way this year to around the side of the building (evidently this has been done before however last year the venue insisted that we had it at the front of the building). There will also be a coffee cart out there for you who arrive early.

We have had thunder storms and rain here all day - please Brisbane Woodies will you hold the rain back and let us have sunshine for the show!! In case it rains (remember last year) we have bought a number of those plastic ponchos as a stand by!!

Well think that's all - we fly out tomorrow, the build of the show starts Tuesday night 6.30pm - we are all looking forward to this show!!

Guess what its started raining (really heavy now) again - lets hope it stays in Sydney!

Here's lots of wishes to you for a great show. Hope you enjoy it.
Liz
