G'day my name is Wayne Osborne (as my user name suggests). I am from central Queensland and have not really done alot of turning(even though I just purchased my second lathe).
Anyways I have a Sher Power MC-900 and the adjustable pulley on the head is cracked in a few spots. What I am wondering is where (and if ) I can find a replacement??
Any info would be very much appreciated.
Cheers

Wayne, the MC900 is a "generic" lathe sold by various outlets, such as Hare & Forbes (WL-18 (https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Products?stockCode=W382)) and Carbatec (MC900 (http://www.carbatec.com.au/carba-tec-economy-woodlathes_c14630)).

They normally stock spares, the variable speed pulley system is called a Reeves pulley, I suggest you give one or both suppliers a call and see whether they can help you.
