After you've constructed your plate/platter masterpiece, how do you demonstrate it in an upright position? Does anyone make their own plate stand, if so, how?

How about one of those invisible skyhooks that the advertises use in their photography?:whistling2:

I have made several including one from this site South Auckland Woodturners' Guild (http://www.sawg.org.nz/)

Here is a couple I found on another forum.

Don't visit the $2 shop much but will have a look.

Did intend to make something from timber and what you've posted Mike looks good.

Thanks, guys.

A cheaper quicker option than all the above is to use about 2' of fencing wire bent to shape. Easily adjusted for different size bowls/platters and a bit of black paint makes it almost invisible in most situations. :2tsup:
