I went down to shed today, the Yellow Peril was upset with me and told me to look in the wood shed. I looked and found this 'orrible offcut of Beefwood, almost triangular in shape. I thought, "why not" and mounted it. Turned the Peril to the lowest speed (50rpm) and turned it round. I progressed till it was round enough and started shaping it, ending up at about 1000 rpm. I used a scraper to clean up tool marks. I brought the tail stock up at the last moment to introduce a guide hole for reverse chucking. It's now got a good coat of Kunos Oil.

My hands ended up black from the resin and I will have to hand sand the exterior. In a few days I'll hollow the bowl out.
