First Turned Bowls!

These are the first bowls I have turned in timber. They are Australian Cedar with pencil and ink work following the grain of the bowl. There is no finish over the top - I like the "lightness" of the timber without the finish.
But boy,Cedar makes you sneeze.....even with a dust mask:roll:

I have a stack of hoop pine bowl blanks & rough turned platters sitting in a container & I am going to have a go at something similar.
