Greetings to all, Richard here:), some of you may know me from the metalworking forum as metal work is my main hobby, and I love restoring old tools and machines when I come across them, however now and again, ( just to keep the missus happy:rolleyes:) I do a bit of wood work, I recently acquired a second hand H&F lathe, is a W18 A model I checked H&F website and they have a W18 model and it looks the same model, any way my question is, is there some one that would be kind enough to photocopy, scan, or let me borrow the manual and parts list for me to do it, I am willing to pay for any costs involved, any help will be greatly appreciated,
Kind regards to all ,
Richard.https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/images/31325.jpeg (https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Products?stockCode=W382#)

Hi Richard the parts list is on their web site https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/images/22645.pdf

Shame the manual isn't but this is the same almost every where.

Richard, this (http://images.harborfreight.com/manuals/34000-34999/34706.PDF) is to all intents and purposes the same machine, it is very similar to the manual I had for my MC900.

It's a shame Grizzly doesn't seem to sell this model lathe anymore, their manuals are second to none.

Thanks Ray, I did see it but is not very clear ,I printed it and you can not see the numbers very well, that's why I asked if some body has the actual manual it will be much better,
thanks, Richard.

Yes:2tsup:,that's the one, thanks Fred, I also looked at Jet tools web site and they have the same lathe, and a pdf manual, only thing theirs is a 6 speed one, the exploded view is a lot clearer then the H&F one, I been cleaning it up and is coming good, is very much in one piece except for the swivel locking leaver which is broken off and is missing the tool rest two top sections, but I can fix and make that no probs, thanks for your help guys, appreciated,
Richard.

Hi fellas, just an update, went to Hare & Forbes today having the day off work and all:D, to get some parts for it and ask if they had the manual, about 2minutes later plastic bound copy of it:2tsup:, I am waiting for the swivel lock handle, it has to come from Sydney, should be here in a couple of days, the other thing is the tool rest arm and tool rest, they sell the complete set up including base which I allready have, so I'm going to make the missing parts,
Cheers, Richard.
