Hi all. I am a secondary school woodwork teacher in Victoria and have been unsuccessfully searching for a video of reasonable quality which would give my students an overview of the woodworking industry. Ideally, it would cover such topics as forestry,logging and sawmilling; carpentry and joinery; furniture making; veneering; cabinet making; woodmachining; woodcarving; upholstery and wood finishing; the trend to mass production with it's computer aided drawing and design and computer driven machinery; the deskilling of our woodworkers and the effect of cheap imports on our own industry. I certainly am not looking for an instructional video, rather one which would inform students about the many facets of this wonderful trade. If you know of such a video or even one which highlights any of these topics, I would be really keen to hear about it and grateful if you could contact me with details. Thanks, Simon D
