Hi picked up a few match sticks today i.e 3 London Plane's.
For reference truck tray on cargo is 22 feet or 6.769 metres for young ones.
Should be a bowl blank or two here particularlly in branched sections after we slab it.

Looks like real fodder for a Vicmarc VL 600! :D

Speaking of which, when Jim C. are we likely to have one to be ordered? Holding out, but only just, from a little 750 Stubby.

Clever that growing square timber! Makes it easier to saw.

What do you do, grow it in a mold?

,Don't think todays wood pick up as good as yesterday. Will have to see how it mills. Trunk appears to have splits full length in middle.

Don't slab them a thin as you usualy do. I know it's fun playing with your Lucas Mill, leave a couple of slabs thick enough to make something out of.

Thanks for reminder Ken nothing thiner than 75 mm for platters
Will see how it all shapes up when we open it up as all were condemed due to water damage internally indeed one of the plane trees when droped gushed out at least 100 litres of water so middles could be a bit of a challenge or be allready hollowed for us.
Time will tell
