Betty

Here are the photos of my backgammon board.

The Playing area veneers are Hoop Pine and Red Cedar. The centre oieces are New Guinea Rosewood burl and Bumpy Ash.

I made the stone from a 32 mm dowel finished with Japan Black and Limewash.

HOpe this helps.

Now that is some very nice work.

As to the tradition way of playing is to slam down the piece when you land on top of your opponent. Tell him to get him self a coffee. Or even say "tsk tsk tsk look at these numbers" when you make a block or hit two of hit pieces. And when you start to clean up ask your opponent "Do you want me to take one piece out at a time?" :U

Now you know that I play a little bit.
