Hi all
Does anyone know where I can get a chuck that will take drill bits, that I can insert into the MT2 hole in my wood lathe. (For drilling out pen blanks et al).

Carbatec has quite a neat unit, I have one and am happy with it
Keyless Chuck w/ No. 2 Morse Taper : CARBA-TEC (http://www.carbatec.com.au/keyless-chuck-w-no-2-morse-taper_c14390)
But there are lots of other places, H&F, McJing, the list goes on.

McJing has them listed as well, but as separate chucks and arbors. Different chucks need different arbors. There are as many as 5 or 6 different shapes to the front end of the arbor to suit different chucks.

Hi All,
I picked mine up at the Castlemaine Vic. Swap Meet a few yrs. back now.
Then I went to the Elmore Field Days, Vic. & haggled with the Stand Holder & got one for $25, brand spanking new.
My best buy that day.
It does have a smaller opening, but will not take 1/2in. but that's OK, the other ones do.
All my 4 Chucks are Keyless & would not have cost anything like $100. The Power of The Markets.
Regards ,
issatree.

Just bear in mind there's some variation too in what what a 1/2" Jacobs chuck goes down to; some do 1mm and some only 3mm.
