Blades for cutting brass

Hi

My husband wants me to cut some small parts for his railway modelling in thin brass - 1.6mm and 2mm I think.

I know I have seen posts about using jewellers blades for this but can't find them.

Can someone advise me on which blades would be best and where to get them.

I have a Delta 16" variable speed scroll saw.

I have just upgraded to the Delta 16" 40-540, how is yours going, have you modified it at all or had any problems?

a metal cutting blade (FD-IR) from the flying dutchman range would do it but I find tinsnips to work unless its real small stuff (N gauge)

Thanks, I am investigating costs and availability. Tinsnips are a little large for shaping the very small components for my husband's HO locos!

In addition to the above when cutting thin brass sandwich between two sheets of thin (3mm) MDF to prevent the nasty burr and deformation of the edges.
Don't forget the mask (wheeze, wheeze).
