Got some shed time this weekend, and had a crack at this. Its a piece of redgum that fell out of a tree at work, a lot of CA and some epoxy to ensure it held together. lid is Myrtle burl and my first ever finial is a random bit of something. Had trouble with the finial, broke two before i got this one off, a lot more practice with these little things is needed. This is my first lidded anything really, pretty happy with it, hope it doesn't look to much like a pumpkin!!:?

Nicely done...good lookin' wood too. The "design enhancement" battery kinda' takes away from it though:;:D
