when I bought my litle yellow lathe from a forum member 10 months ago, one if the extras that came with it was a waxed block, about 6" x 6" x 3". It was labeled "eucalypt burl" , it looked fascinating, but I did not think that I had the skills to make it work. It has been sitting on a shelf , just waiting, until today.

I think it was a pretty good piece of timber.

Sanded to 400, finished with Ubeaut friction polish and then some canuba wax.

The mrs. has claimed this and won't give it back.

Hi Avery
your wife must be like mine I make a piece like you have and I see $$$$$ signs she comes along and says I've got just the place to put that. A great piece love the burl and great finish.
