Had a nice surprise yesterday with a visit from Lynda Watts. She is a Manual Arts teacher from Collinsville. ( Vern knows her. ) I met her when I tried a little stall at the Gympie Markets before Christmas. She arrived with a few pieces of timber for me, so I was able to give her some that she had not tried. She comes through here every school holiday so I expect the odd visit.from her. She has only been turning for a year, but it was great to meet up with a like minded lady turner. She told me that I have to try to get to a Proserpine Turnout, so that is on the agenda.

No. Just isolated from the main part of Gympie for a few days. All back to normal now.
