Coronet Flatbed Woodlathe

G'day, all
Ihave just got hold of an original (i think) Coronet lathe.It is peppermint green in colour and coated with a type of stucco over the headstock which has started to crack and fall off.Would anybody know what it actually is and could i use a panel beaters type bodyfiller to fill and repair it.It is about 3mm thick.As i said i only got it today off my dad who has had it for probably 10 or 15 years from an old deceased cabinetmakers estate and it was one of those i'm gonna do jobs that never was done.The old girl hums and runs as good as the day it was made and is very heavy.It has a coronet name plate on the front and looks like it had another down towards the bottom but it has probably fallen off a long time ago.The motor sits on the back of the headstock and slides into it on 2 round bars which act as pulley tensioners.Searching the net has turned up very little and what i have found is very similar but the headstock is a different shape and the colour is a darker green and was made around the1940s.What i was looking for was maybe a copy of a manual or any information i could get on the one i have.As yet i haven't been able to locate any serial numbers or model numbers.Any help would be much appreciated.

Your lathe sounds exactly the same as mine can you post a picture?
If you look at the UK webb site www.lathes.co.uk (http://www.lathes.co.uk/) you will see a photo of my lathe as i was requested to provide them with a picture as they did not have much information on these flat bed coronets .
Have attached pictures you will notice i have converted mine to a 3 phase motor with variable speed drive but otherwise all orignal

Your lathe was the one i found on the net.I have only just got it home and have'nt had a chance to set it up yet.As soon as i do i will post photos. As i have'nt done that before hopefully it's not that hard to do.Your headstock is different to mine and my coronet logo is on the headstock and not on the bed.The only number i have found is a registered trademark one and it is 245777.

The only issue i have with my lathe is the non standard head stock drive spindle thread which is 11/16 x 11 tpi:((
I was lucky that i got a scroll chuck and some face plates with the lathe but not able to get extra accessories because thread adaptors not avalible:no:
