Can anybody tell me if there is any danger in turning conkerberry.

Not that I know of, I have a fairly sensitive nose & I had no problems sanding a piece on the weekend.

Do you mean conkers as in horse chestnut? If so the conker or the wood from the tree?

had a grin when i read your reply , brings back memories playing conkers as a kid growing up in yorkshire.( i had a couple that were hundreder's +( and many red knuckles )
but no the conkerberry in question is a small bush found in australia

sanding its a very fine dust , so could be some alergy problems . these can apply to one person and not others . best to watch yourself and see how you go .beautifull wood though :2tsup:
