hi guys,
this was made from a blank of Burdekin Plum which was given to me
by a friend and was very plain and boring from the outside,so i thought
i would give it a go and got a very nice surprise inside,don't you just love it when that happens:2tsup:

In all honesty, I rather prefer it with the missing piece. The imperfection enhances the form.

To my mind, anyway. :)

Lovely grain in the wood and the bowl looks nicely finished. A piece to be proud of. :2tsup:

Mmmm - gotta love that Burdekin Plum - shame the pink and red tinges don't hold up through finishing. :U Nice piece, well finished :2tsup:

That last shot almost looks like you attacked it with a blowtorch!

That grain is amazing, whether by design or luck, you've pulled a piece to be proud of out of that bit of Plum.

Well Done:2tsup::2tsup:

Can not complain about that piece. It is very nice, in both texture and form. Well done
