The band saw blade gantry/handler and sharpener that comes with the bandsaw weighs ~6 tons. Price is "Free", pickup is from a small town in the middle of British Columbia. Power requirements: ~60 kW.

I just like the hand wheel on the tail stock:D, it's like something from the land of the giants:doh:
Oh, and I would order it but I don't think my letter box is big enough.

Nice one but the problem is obtaining blanks that size now.:rolleyes:

The bloke that used to do my machining in Sale had one like that and he reckons the hardest part was using the micrometer to measure the work.:wink:

My shed not big enough. Damn it. Rekon you would need an oxygen tank to climb up to the top.

Agreed,it can be PITA with big Micrometers,the biggest I have been around was 3m+

All that and powerfeed where do i sign? how do i move it? we still have logs up here , perhaps not quite that size . cheers Bob
