I vote with everyone else - wonderful work.

Just a thought, everyone always says what the peices are finished in - no one ever says what tooling was used, so what hollowing tool/system/methods did you use please.

G'day Ben - Very nice group of hollow forms. How long have you been turning and what sort of hollowing tools are you using? Beautiful finish. How fine are you sanding and what finish are you using? You are doing a great job. Keep it up.

thanks fredo, i bought my first lathe 15 years ago, still havnt had any formal training,
totally self taught, so no dout ive got some bad habbits.
i need to make some time to get some pointers from the professionals! :;
(specially that router jig)

all my hollowing is done with the big rolly munroe.
somtimes ill sand to 2000 grit, the outback timbers deffinatly appreciate it!

i usually stuff around with different finishes, but shellawax just seems to easy to get a great finish quickly.

very nice indeed. Really like the gidgee pair, especially the curves on the larger form.
