Just finished a few more needle/toothpick cases and
this one was a nightmare ... Desert Gidgee.
It is one of the hardest woods I have tackled but the
effort was well worthwhile. The photograph does not
do it justice as the result is stunning. The fiddleback
grain stands out like Grandpa's ears.

Now, back to the grindstone to sharpen the chisels again.:2tsup:
