This is the pictures of a working wooden ball bearing I turned this afternoon.

Very clever turning. Just something you 'had' to do, or part of something bigger?

Thank you. Yea I had not much else on the to do list so made this, it was just some testing to see if it where possible in other projects. The bearing would run smother if all of the balls where the same size :doh:

wow. so how did you get the balls inside? Surely it's not all form 1 piece...

The way the balls are inserted is,
Bring all of them down to one side

Press the inner ring to one side until they become detached
