Hi to Woodturners Everywhere,
Yes, it is a Very Great Day for all Woodturners.
In this Morning's Melbourne Sun Herald, & the Honors List to those who have Achieved Great Heights in their Lives,
Is one, Victor George WOOD, of Burwood, Vic.

Vic has been a Mentor & Teacher for more Years than most of us can remember, & at Last has Received An OAM, for Arts & Crafts.

He is also a well loved Turner for His Demonstrations, All Over The World.

Quite a few Years ago, a meeting was held at Down Under Turn Around, Cowes, Vic. to see if something could be done to Obtain an Honor for Vic.

Of All the Good Turners, mainly Victorians, who have the Ability to Win Prizes, at the likes of The Nunawadding Woodturning Exhibition, can all say Thanks to Vic for his Great Ability for Teaching Woodturning.

On Behalf of All who know Him , Congratulations Vic.

Hi to All Woodturners,
On Announcing that VIC WOOD had received an OAM on Australia Day Honors List, I was very Remiss that I had not mentioned His Wife Bev.

As most of us know, there is A Good Lady behind Every Good Man.

Bev is most certainly one of these Ladies.

My Apologies go out to Bev.

Vic Wood, a very humble person indeed. The award is very deserving for such an accomplished wood turner and teacher in the art and craft of wood turning.

Regards,
Joevan.
