There is a view that yew wood is poisonous for eating/drinking items.

Do like the colour. But agree with Christos, base looks to small for top. Or is that just the angle of picture?

Hi,

From my perspective the base is holding it up without falling over. thats what a base is meant to do. Love the grain pattern. Just think. That is the wood that knocked the french for six at the battle of agincourt - timber with history.
