Through a strange twist of fate I was led to this group (Thanks Aussie). I hope this fits in.

I also hope I am posting these photos correctly.

I will admit that I have made an error at this point. The hood should have been made to go on top of the sides instead of inbedded between them. I am going to finish this model incorrectly and paint it up as a lowrider to camaflauge the mistake.

Hay Crunchie you must have some extra powers as you seem to be the only one to see them.
Maybe a browser thing I am on FF11.

Gonna be a bit redundant here to try to post photos. It didn't like the first way I tried (insert image) so here we go again.
One: link to Flickr

I just found them on flickr as well. Some other cool stuff on there. Some train stuff and the makings of a spoked wheel. Cool.

John do you have any photos of your trains/

The caboose is my only 1/8th scale live steam car for now and it is made of standard dimensional lumber. Since there isn't a track nearby I don't have a lot of motivation to finish it and I have been working on it longer than I care to tell. Most of my trains are indoor scales of HO (1/87) and N (1/160) and are of modular design. (ie. NMRA standard for HO and Bendtrack for N.) I don't really have many web accessable photos of any of my work and my camera has gone MIA. There might be a few photos of my indoor trains on the Yahoo group gcrmtrainclub and good reference photos in lscarsandstructures for live steam.

Welcome aboard John.

Hopefully Aussie has guided you through the photo uploading. If you're still having trouble, let me know. Once sorted, I'll edit all posts to clear everything up.
