Hi All
I am looking at buying an easy finisher from Easy Wood Tools. The web site quotes $50 delivery, so if other are interested in splitting the shipping fee, please let me know.

I will leave the thread open for 1 week and then place the order.

Thanks

Red,

Just to muddy the waters, look at this thread:

http://www.woodworkforums.com/f8/round-carbide-cutters-149383/

And: Knots and Burls to Bowls - Kilian Tool Sets (http://www.knotsburls.com/kilian-tools.php)

I just bought a demo Easy Finisher at a good price. It is a scraper and works well on very hard woods. There is a lot of tear out on softer woods.

Last night I hollowed a bone dry, hard as concrete, red oak bowl made from a crotch, using the Easy Finisher. Part way thorough it was not cutting as well as before. I touched up the top with a 600 grit diamond paddle and it went back to making long thin curlys.

Thanks Paul
The Kilian look exactly the same as the easy wood tools and certainly are much cheaper.

Have you had any experience with using them?

I have not, but some of the members are ordering tips from Kilian. Several have made their own holders.

I did not know of Kilian before I bought the Easy Finisher, I probably would not have bought the Easy.
