Looks like the new Nova Midi is here finaly it was released just after last years Sydney wood show but in the USA.

No I don't have one nor am I buying one.

I did wonder if it would be available here. I see the blurb quotes 60hz, must be the USA just cut and pasted over here :)

Still all in all looks OK 12" swing, short bed is handy for small workshops.

Be a bit hard to find a 120V outlet in my shed too:doh:

I have seen this thing up close, a bit too much plastic,

Notice it is only in 1" x8 thread as well, certainly set up for the US market.

I wonder if they have really set it up for 240v or trying to hope the 220v US will work ok

Probably the latter as they try and gauge response to the model down under. I think personally it has a spot in this market if they market it right.

At my house I have 124 Volts. The 120 stuff accepts 115 to 130, the 240 accepts 230 to 260. All house and business wiring insulation is good for 600volts.
