Hi All
I am looking at making my own carbide tipped turning tools and wanted to know if anyone has bought from carbide depot.com.
The following ilk is a product I was looking a getting. 12mm round cutter. Prices are very good but would just like some feedback from other members.

If you have bought carbide cutters elsewhere, would be keen to hear from where and pricing?

Thanks

Has anyone thought of trying these?
Replacement Spiral Blade Inserts & Screws : CARBA-TEC (http://www.carbatec.com.au/replacement-spiral-blade-inserts-screws_c20862)

Not sure of the size - they're used in spiral thicknesser heads.

They look the same as the Shelix Spiral carbide inserts. We have been using them in our Ci1 style woodturning tools as they are much cheaper than the cost of the Easywood cutter. They work just as good. Gregory's Machinery also sell them for around $60/10
