All right you guy's out there with machinery can I have some input in regards to sharpening your cutters off your spindle moulder blocks?
At present my local saw sharpener looks after my needs but can be costly so I was wondering whether there was a way that the average home guy can sharpen his own without losing the profile of the cutter!
Would it be the same approach as honing your router bits on the flat edge of the profile so that there is a polished finish and devoid of gum residue which is what I'm currently doing with reasonable results---well enough to maintain a good cutting edge.
I have'nt seen any reading on this.
