Interesting site, but no prices. I get mine from Wooden Wonders (http://woodenwonderstx.com/ZC_WoodenWonders/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&zenid=11f33261e458f35e1c8cccba825fbc25)

What are their shipping rates like?
Am I ordering 100 bucks to make it worth it.
And whats the shelf life if I go for 8 or 16 oz?

Neil, have you tried the refillable spray can for accelerator ?

I saw it mentioned a while back on IAP and have been wondering about it ever since, tempted to buy one so I can use the bulk bottles of accelerator rather than buy the aerosol
cans.

Shipping rates are standard int boxes. I tend to go in with others, then order 6-8 large bottles at a time, or less with heaps of plastic bottles/caps.

I keep the big bottles in the fridge, decanting them to the smaller bottles, then putting the big bottle back in the fridge quick smart (ie before condensation forms on the inside of the bottle). They have been there for well over a year and still no probs.

Yes I have one, but have not loaded it yet, still using up my other spray bottles. John (Gawdelpus) ordered it for me whilst getting his own. I'll leave it to him to post how good they are. Unfortunately they do not send their accelerator OS anymore

I have only been using the reusable bottle for a few weeks , I got the 8 oz size ,and I buy my activater from hobbyking 3 x 8oz bottles delivered for $40 :) The spray pack works well and comes with a few spare nozzles and other parts, it does a fine mist but you need to be back from the work piece or it will flood .Still playing with it ,so can't be too definitive about it :) But so far I am pleased with the results and convenience of the setup, just pumps up from your compressor ,only done the initial charge so far not needed to pump it up since :) As Neil says hard to beat wooden wonders prices and he is a member of IAP and well respected :) Cheers ~ John

I gather we can email them for prices and the life span is guaranteed etc. But if you keep your CA in a cool spot free from moisture it will last a very long time.

This is of no particular relevance other than the topic of CA but I was very proud of myself last week - first time ever that I managed to use every last drop of a 2oz bottle of thin CA without it going off :U:U:U. GPW label - has a cap that is easy to keep clean and seals well :2tsup:

For those who are not sure how this might be handy. I use it to re-stick my velcro on the sanding blocks, power sanding heads etc.
Its good for metal to plastic as it remains slightly soft or flexible and its claimed to be heat proof. This I will test over the coming weeks on my enertia sander and various other sanding set ups.

Ok I have found a Loctite equivalent its called Black Max. Whats its good for is gluing rubber to steel and resecuring your velcro pads back onto the sanders. Plus :2tsup: its not a bad filler for small cracks as well. I have some and its magic for my velcro problems and so I have filled small cracks very well. Just a bit easier than coffee grindS and CA

But how much Hughie? Loctite is a great product, but normally costs a fortune.

That site I posted earlier in this thread also sells the black rubberised CA, I have some, but haven't used it yet. Thanks for the idea of using it for the velcro :2tsup:
