Hi!

The last Chinese tool I scraped! I'll never do that again. :((
I got that video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8NqeD73ZZ4) from an unknown source.

Murdering a banana seems to really upset the cat for some reason. :hmm: :U

That's very funny Nick.

I've just spent all day testing a spindle into a tailstock height alignment. Thinking I was going mad. I pulled the test chart, they claim 0.015mm. I've checked it 3 different ways, and I get about 0.26mm tailstock too high. That was on a 6 metre between center CNC lathe at several hundred thousand $.

I'm convinced I'm going to fly cut it and scrape it in tomorrow.

Phil.

If you want, I could bring you a bunch of new spotting masters to Munich for you this weekend.. :) I think they are on special at the local supermarket..

Everyone knows you cant use a Cavendish for blueing.
It has to be a Plantain for accuracy.

Hey! We can buy bananas here in Germany. You confused that with the GDR (German Democratic Republic) where they had bananas once a year.
That's like Americans coming to Austria and asking where the kangaroos are. :D
