View Full Version : countersunk aluminium plate what is the best way?

I need advice on this as I have bad burr every time i do countersunk on Aluminium.
may be i don't use the right bit?

What type of countersunk bit have you got?

I have a few different kind. some are 4 flute and some are 2 flute .all are HSS bit .
I will have to take some pictures of them and post here

The Cross Hole type is better suited to aluminium.

Actually, it's better suited for everything I have ever tried it on, wood, mild and stainless steel, ali, perspex, phenolic sheet.
