:2tsup:Good challenge Sandy, suggest that you try and break up the firm outline and do a bit more shading to develop a more three dimensional effect. Start using your Razer spoon nib in your collection and experiment.:D

Hi Sandy
I like this one and its a great subject.
How big is the picture and what is the wood?

Do you have a copy of the 1st Pyrography magazine? It came out early last year here and has a great couple of pages on burn patterns and which nib to use. I tend to stick to the writing nib for most work but have just splashed out on a set of ball nibs and am having a lot of fun using dots for shading.

Thanks Kaye, No I don't have that mag.... sounds good. Yes I tend to use the one tip as well , but venturing out on different ones now, especially on my birds.
The Lioness is on a oblong piece of Jacaranda about 10" x 18"
Cheers
Sandy
