Yes, Russ Fairfield's site. A must read for every turner, especially the finishing sections. I go back and review that site a couple times a year and I alway find something I missed before.

Yeah, much sound advice there based on lots of experience.
Not a quibble, but on 4 - Should I bolt my lathe to the floor? I would have added:
Bolting to an uneven floor can also twist the lathe and cause the centres to go out of alignment.
I also enjoyed going back and reading his Universal Truths (http://www.woodturnerruss.com/UniversalTruths.html).
