6" jointers

Can I get anything for around $500 or am I in the land of make believe. I dont really know where to find them, any ideas?
It will be for home but I hope to use it quite a bit. I look foward to your comments.

If you are in Vic you could try the Melbourne Trading POst who also have a web site under the same name www.melbournetradingpost.com.au (http://www.melbournetradingpost.com.au)
and look under tools.
Other states may have a similar publication. You may also try the for sale forum, you may get lucky

Delta make a small 6" benchtop jointer which comes in at about $500 new, available through Carbatec. Its suitable for light work only, but worth a look if you're doing boxes & other small stuff.

Once again if you are in Vic., try Northern Machinery Sales in High(?) St, Preston. I picked up an excellent 8" Woodfast joiner there recently. Had the choice of a three at the time. Someone can probably confirm the correct address. G'luck.
