Heres a hollow piece i recently finished.
Timber is yellow box burl 11” diam x 7 ½” high.

Do you bother sanding or finishing the inside of a hollow like that?

thanks brad, i dont sand inside, just try to leave a smoothe chisel finish

hi bench,
very nice job ,i like the shape and the finish
i have done a similar form and just poured danish oil inside
stood back and turned on the lathe:o
just to finish off the inside:U
still you should be very pleased with that one mate!!!!!

I havnt seen the article, but i also havnt seen a royalty cheque for the use of my piece either :D.... so i guess not !
