Mallee Hollow form 11x4" This one sprayed, found it a bit hard getting my hand in side to finish it.

I used gaffer tape, wont be using it again as it left glue stains on the mallee, took forever to get rid of them.

Plenty of room for your hand there Hughie. You've just got to pull it in and out quickly.
A great job.

Wow :o, absolutely gorgeous :2tsup: Even with the tape, I am amazed it held together, I'm certainly impressed :cool:

I wonder if the buyer will realise what effort went into it, and how close it was to being firewood :U

I beginning to wonder just how little wood you need to turn and how much 'air' you can get away with :;

Wonderful work Hughie - no Stunning work. :2tsup:

I like this piece.

As I am very much a beginner on the lathe and have not tried something like this but the comments you are getting is that this would fall apart very easily.

Hi all,
While I admire the skill and effort that goes into such a piece, I have to be a spoil sport and admit that I do not find these holie Bowls attractive at all.
