Is anyone going to Turnfest 2013? My wife and I are going for the first time and we are really looking forward to it. We are also looking forward to meeting some other forum members there.

Hi,
I am going again this year (only 2nd time) with a mate from the Woodturners of the Hunter (he has been several times). You'll have no trouble meeting like-minded and interesting people. Horsham??? - lots of interesting woodies down there (and quilters)

Cheers, and hope to see you there,
Paul

Thanks Paul. Look forward to seeing you there. We are not into quilting my wife is in to woodcarving and decorating my woodturning.
Cheers Frank

I will be there for the second time.
I was disapointed last year not to meet any forum members because I had no means of identifying them.
Maybe we could organise something.

Forum hats/shirts or funny walks. What takes your fancy Ted?

Good idea Ted. It should be easy to work something out.

There use to be a print out of a name badge with the forum logo on it.

What about just putting a large dot on the corner of the name badge ?

My wife and I are going for the fourth time.
The food is great, you just have to keep in mind when the calorie fairies are lurking. Best to eat before the big hand gets to the 12 on your watch, otherwise the calories go berserk!
Maybe a coloured dot on the corner of the name tags would indicate a forum member.

Anyway, a great event, get there if you can.

Hi
Nothing got finalised. How about put a dot on the corner of your name badge and hang around the bar near the instant gallery on Friday around 8pm?

Hi Alan,

I was also there last year and would have loved to have met other forumites, and probably did without knowing it. I had intended to take my forum badge - hope I remember, but a coloured dot sounds good too.

Sutherland Shire... I visit my daughter in Panania quite regularly, and often drop in on Hughie and Wheelin.

Cheers,
Paul.

P.S. I'll be wearing a blue Woodturners of the Hunter cap so please say Hi.
