I guys. I've messed around on a cheap lathe I bought years ago for awhile now, but the time has come for me to upgrade. So I'm after any advice you can give me as to which lathe to buy or which to avoid. I don't wanna go over board on how much I spend as I just do few projects from time to time. It doesn't need to have a large bed as I mainly like to turn bowls, vases just smaller projects. Want to try sum pens and goblets also.

thanks for any advice

Some questions
1) What was your previous lathe - this would be helpful for comparison purposes.
2) Are any of your current chucks etc likely to be of ongoing use?
3) How large a bowl would you like to be able to turn?l
4) What sort of budget are we looking at?
5) Are you worried about dust/Do you have a dust extractor?
6) Do you have 3 phase power in your shed?
